My Canon PowerShot S5 IS

Got this new gadget on Monday, it's my new toy! I can now take clearer photos and sharper image with this Canon PowerShot S5 IS digital camera. It is relatively user friendly, but there are lots of new camera language that I need to learn and understand to fully utilize this machine. Ever since I started to blog I began to like photography, tried mingling with my Casio Xslim dummy digi cam but soon I realised my needs has seriously out do what the dummy digi cam can offer.

Been weighing between getting a camcorder or upgrade to a better camera to prepare for the arrival of my little princess. After much discussion, Jeff and I feel that since I am beginning to love photography we might as well invest in a good camera with higher mega pixel and longer optical zoom. To top it up this S5 comes with high resolution video recording function and therefore it fits my bill perfectly.

Let me show you what I have achieved with the help of this new gadget. All the objects below are taken from my back yard.

Photos below uses super micro up to as close as 0cm to capture small detail and close up images.
Didn't realise there are so many beautiful flowers in my garden, really surprises me! Wanted to wait for the regular dragon flies to come but they didn't show up that afternoon. Next time!
