I injured my right hip bone, might have sprained it some time yesterday without realising. It hurts badly and I am immobile now.
Count down has started for everyone, I believe so, for varies reasons.
You are counting down for Christmas.
You must be counting down for your long deserved holiday.
And some of you are counting down for your Birthday.
After all that, we all may start to count down for the New Year.
This is really a season to be jolly, sha lalalala...
As for me, the waiting game has began. I am antsy for the big moment, the day that I will carry the little one in my arms.
I was with my gynae on Monday and did a 30 minutes scan to see the frequency of my contractions, if any. Results showed that I do experienced mild contractions throughout that 30 minutes of examinations and my baby's heart beat is regular. We also found out that baby weighs about 3.2kg now and the other scary thing was that my cervix has already dilated to 1 cm! My gynae asked me if I knew what that means, I said yes... meaning 9 more centimeters and my cervix is big enough for my baby's head to descend....
Ask me how I feel now? I am full bundle of nerves now, and extremely panic stricken. My house is not ready yet, I worry she pops anytime now.
Baby, not this week ok? Next week yeah, good girl. I have been talking to her, bargaining time with her, teaching her how to count on the number of days left till next week. Jeff enticed her with many toys and games if she comes out next week. Mummy wants to do her confinement in the new house ok baby.
I cannot walk now, my right hip hurts, can't straighten my leg when I stand up. This is definitely not part of contractions, haven't I suffered enough? Why add on to my discomfort, I don't even know how I had that sprain... I stayed in today, bed-ridden , only to get out distressingly for toilet break (every 1 to 2 hours). I am walking like a crippled, every step to the toilet is so back breaking.
If I don't blog anything next week, I am away in the delivery suite. Labour labour labour...

U sure u sprained ur hip? cos i had that hip pain too for my last pregnancy n 3 or 4 days later i delivered my baby. Gynae said pain due to baby pressing on nerves.
GOSH, I am not really sure that I had a sprain. I am also suspecting that its due to baby's weight pressing on the right side. I hope she can delay till next week...
i dun think tts a sprain, i suffered tt during my 2nd trimester, went to a chiropractor, n was told tt it's becos our body is getting ready to give birth, so the joints loosen n my hip bone twisted. i had went to several session of chiropratic before i m fine again. u may wan to chk with ur gynae during ur next visit.

Hi!
Came across your blog while I was searching for information about KKH's The Private Suite. Appreciate your review. May I know which gynae you are seeing? How do you find him or her? Thanks.
Wish you a smooth delivery. Take care.
Hi Anonymous,
My gynae is Dr Tan Kim Teng, I chose her because she is a senior consultant and I am more comfortable with a lady doctor. She is being referred to me by my sister in law.
hello! I saw you at Parkway Parade with your hubby! You are really looking good and healthy! Wish you a smooth delivery!
P/s: No offence, but your hubby is quite good looking and you are very pretty although you are heavily pregnant!
