Still waiting

Still around, me still here.

It is the 16th December 2007 at 7.51am on a cheerful Sunday morning. I have not gone into labour yet, she is still inside me and I cannot get to sleep.

Due to my twisted hip, it indeed posed many inconvenience and discomfort for me during the last few days. Fortunately it seems to be getting better, I was finally out and about in the malls yesterday. Headed down to Bugis Junction to sign up for the Singnet broadband for my new place before I go into labour, to secure my ability to surf and blog after I discharge from hospital. But due to the overwhelming response, my connection will only be activated on the 28th December 2007. Currently I am using Starhub cable connection, but cable connections has become more and more of a rabbit and tortoise race just that in this story, the tortoise never win.

After which we went to shop for bed side lamps and chests of drawers for the new house. It was a fulfilling Saturday as we managed to get them very close to our requirements and also at a very low price. Wanted to load in more shelves and storage spaces as we really have too much belongings.

Following that we ended our night with a rewarding movie, The Warlords, staring Andy Lau, Jet Li and Takeshi Kaneshiro. I really enjoyed the movie, I mean who wouldn't, with 3 major stars of the century and one super duper charming man in the universe (which I deem he is), the movie was never a bore at any single moment. Kudos to their fantastic performance!


I presumed this will be the last movie I watched before I go into labour. Jeff said I should be the most "Garang" pregnant women he knows to be still going around the island shopping, watching movie even when the risk of running into server contractions are high. What to do, I am not a person that will faithfully stay at home and wait for things to happen...

I should be able to go shopping again today, still have some bits and pieces of furnishing I need to get for the new house. Might catch me at Ikea!
